Lauren Velazquez, M.P.P.

Lauren Velazquez is the Education Policy Fellow at CT Voices for Children. Lauren works primarily on analyzing the state's achievement gap for minority and low-income school children and evaluating the impact of state and local funding on student outcomes.

In 2002, Lauren graduated from DePaul University with a B.A. in History and Secondary Education. Lauren taught high school history for several years in Chicago and recently received her M.P.P. from Harvard's Kennedy School of Government with a concentration in education and social policy.
