Orlando Rodriguez is a Senior Policy Fellow at Connecticut Voices for Children where he specializes in economic and fiscal policy. He has been analyzing Connecticut socioeconomics since 2002 while at UConn's Center for Population Research and as manager of the Connecticut State Data Center. He was responsible for calculating the state's official population projections. He co-authored the report The Five Connecticuts, which is used by state agencies for policymaking. Orlando has also reported on the impact of undocumented populations on Congressional apportionment in two reports Impact of Undocumented Populations on 2010 Congressional Reapportionment and The One-Man One-Vote Myth: The Impact of Non-Voting Populations on Congressional Apportionment.

Orlando received a B.S. in Geology from Louisiana State University in 1983 and an M.A. in Geography from Ohio State University in 1992. He was a Peace Corps volunteer in Ecuador from 1983 to 1985. He began working for Connecticut Voices for Children in March 2010.
