Michael Sullivan



Mr. Sullivan is the Director of Communications for Connecticut Voices for Children, with responsibility for the coordination of the organization's communications initiatives, including media relations, reports, fact sheets, Website development, and listservs. In his previous work for the Connecticut Children's Health Project, he was responsible for the coordination, design and distribution of a variety of educational materials that promoted HUSKY (Connecticut's Medicaid and SCHIP programs).

Mr. Sullivan's background and training is in the field of social work. He has ten years of experience in communications and social services, working in the areas of human service advocacy, grant writing, program planning, research, and casework. He has developed Web sites on health and human service policy, municipal policy, nutrition education, and child advocacy. Mr. Sullivan received his MSW from the University of Connecticut School of Social Work.
