Rafael Mejia

Rafael A. Mejia is an Albert J. Solnit Policy Fellow at CT Voices. CT Voices’ Fellows work on a broad range of issues, doing research, fiscal and policy analysis, and also assist in state legislative initiatives through CT Voices' partner organization, Advocates for CT's Children and Youth. Rafael works primarily on issues affecting adolescent development and outcomes. He is most significantly involved in efforts to improve the conditions of adolescents aging out of the foster care system and analyzing the impact of adult prisons on youth under age 18.

Rafael graduated from Dartmouth College with a B.A. in Sociology and a minor in Public Policy. He has served as a mentor and tutor to high school students in Bridgeport and hopes to continue those efforts.
