Announcement: Covering CT's Kids Quarterly Meeting on HUSKY

The next Covering Kids & Families Quarterly Meeting will take place on Thursday, July 24. We will meet at the KEENEY MEMORIAL CULTURAL CENTER at 200 Main Street in Wethersfield. Please note the new location. Registration and coffee will be from 8:30 to 9 am, with a meeting from 9 am to 12 noon. These free educational meetings are open to all organizations interested in helping eligible families to enroll in HUSKY.

Tentative agenda items include:

• Status of HUSKY Outreach Project
• Trends in Enrollment in New Enrollment in the HUSKY Program:  2006-2007
• Presumptive Eligibility for Pregnant Women
• Medicaid citizenship regulations
• New HUSKY/Charter Oak Managed Care Contracts
• Implementation of Newborn enrollment in the regions
• HUSKY Fall Forums for Community Partners
