Emergency Care of Children in HUSKY A: CY 2003 (May 2005)

This report finds that the leading reasons for emergency room visits among children in HUSKY A (Medicaid) were injuries and respiratory conditions. The emergency room visit rate in HUSKY A is unchanged from the previous year, but the number of visits increased due to an increase in the number of children in the program. (May 2005)
