Where Does Connecticut Really Stand on State Spending and State Revenues?

This report pulls together the most recent data on Connecticut’s relative standing on taxes, state spending for a variety of programs and services, and other measures relevant to the current budget debates. It summarizes information on income, property, and business taxes and finds that Connecticut ranks low among states in many areas of state spending as a percentage of personal income (i.e., based on our ability to pay).
